Kendyl’s journey in financial planning began at a young age. Right out of her undergraduate studies, she was mentored by her father, Dan Roundtree, a respected industry veteran with over 40 years of experience. Today, she continues to uphold the values and principles instilled by her father while integrating her own vision for the firm’s future. She understands the importance of building long-lasting relationships and delivering personalized financial strategies that help meet the unique needs of each client.

With a robust academic foundation, Kendyl earned her MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School, and her Master’s of Science in Financial Planning from California Lutheran University. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional TM, she brings a sophisticated, well-rounded skill set to her practice. Kendyl’s extensive training allows her to offer sophisticated solutions across all aspects of financial planning, including retirement planning, multi-generational wealth transfers, business succession, and managing complex financial situations.

Despite her leadership role as the owner and managing partner of Roundtree Financial, Kendyl remains actively involved in the day-to-day financial planning process. She personally oversees every aspect of her clients’ financial strategies, ensuring they receive the personalized attention and guidance they deserve.

When she’s not working with clients, Kendyl enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, pursuing hobbies such as painting, interior decorating, skiing, dirt biking, and soccer, as well as exploring new culinary experiences.

Her career, deeply rooted in the ever-evolving medical industry, has equipped her with a diverse skill set, a strong work ethic, and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence. These qualities have seamlessly transitioned into her work at Roundtree Financial, where she manages the day-to-day operations with precision and efficiency.

Colleen’s early interest in finance led her to study accounting and business at California Baptist College, which laid the foundation for her eventual career in the financial services industry. Although her professional journey initially took her through the medical sector, Colleen never lost her passion for finance. In time, she reignited that passion and became the Practice Manager at Roundtree Financial, where she applies her administrative expertise to support the firm’s operations and client service.

At Roundtree Financial, Colleen plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the firm. She oversees human resources, payroll, compensation structures, and a wide array of operational responsibilities. Additionally, Colleen is licensed in life insurance (CA Insurance Lic. # 4342802), demonstrating her dedication to advancing her industry knowledge and providing clients with comprehensive support.

Colleen’s approach to her work is client-centered; she thrives on helping clients achieve their financial goals and navigating the complexities of their financial lives. These formative years in high-pressure, dynamic environments have equipped her with exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, which she now applies to her work in financial services.

In her role as Executive Assistant, Cindy serves as the initial point of contact for clients, where her warm demeanor, empathy, and client-centric approach shine. She is dedicated to supporting both the firm and its clients, ensuring that every interaction is meaningful, efficient, and positive. Cindy’s ability to balance the demands of a busy practice with a personalized, thoughtful approach aligns seamlessly with Roundtree Financial’s commitment to exceptional client service.

Having worked with companies such as New York Life and Western Financial, Miriam brings a wealth of experience to her role as Operations Assistant, previously the executive assistant for Gary Stemple.

Throughout her career, Miriam has honed her knowledge of the industry and has decades of experience with client services, practice operations, scheduling, and more. Her previous positions have not only shaped her profound understanding of the industry but have also established her as a trusted and reliable resource for both clients and colleagues.

One of Miriam’s most valuable traits is her commitment to fostering meaningful relationships. She enjoys connecting with clients and coworkers alike while also facilitating effective communication and cooperation within the organization. Her dedication to efficiency and responsiveness ensures that tasks are executed seamlessly, and client satisfaction is maximized.

With a career spanning over 30 years, David Schrempf has seen success as an entrepreneur, consultant, chief operating officer, CEO, and financial planner. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in political science and psychology, David started his own business venture and worked with renowned retail companies including Rite Aid, Albertsons, Safeway, Longs, Toys R Us, and Kroger. David also worked in the dental products industry, managing global logistics and international operations.

In 2009, David decided to switch his career path to financial planning, obtaining his Series 6, 63, and 65 soon after and being licensed in life, health, accident, property, and auto insurance. David is also a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) specializing in 401k’s, 403b’s, and retirement planning overall. David primarily focuses on corporate clients, having experience with corporate benefits, executive compensation, and working one-on-one with employers to create the most beneficial plans for employees.

Besides his licenses, certification and business experience, David also brings his passionate and caring nature into his role as a financial planner. Using his background in insurance, David has worked with terminally ill patients to navigate their financial situations and provided continued education for social workers so that they can help patients become financially literate. Due to his experience in insurance and financial planning for terminally ill patients, David has been a keynote speaker at many esteemed institutions and organizations including Johns Hopkins, the National Association of Oncology Social Workers, and MD Anderson Cancer Center.

When David isn’t working, he can be found practicing his photography skills, shooting archery, and being a part of the Civil Air Patrol with his children. He also loves fostering and taking care of dogs without a home.

David’s passion for his clients, extensive business experience, and numerous certifications are what set him apart from other financial planners in his industry.
