Kendyl Roundtree represents the future of financial planning. Her career, marked by a diverse educational background and an unwavering commitment to her clients, has led her to become the driving force behind Roundtree Financial and a top-tier service provider within the industry.
Kendyl's academic pursuits began with a rich foundation in communication and human behavior, as she earned her undergraduate degree in Communication with an emphasis in Sociology from Loyola Marymount University. This unique blend of skills, centered around understanding human interactions, would later become a cornerstone in her client-centric approach to financial planning. Continuing to explore her passion for knowledge and business, she pursued and earned her Master’s of Business Administration from Pepperdine’s Graziadio Business School, enhancing her strategic business acumen. Her pursuit of excellence led her to further specialize in the field, culminating in her becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and receiving a Master’s of Science in Financial Planning from California Lutheran University.
Kendyl's prowess extends beyond investments. She has the ability to navigate robust estate plans and manage complex estates that demand coordination with a network of professionals, ranging from tax advisors to attorneys. This seamless collaboration between professionals helps to ensure that her clients' legacies are preserved and passed on effectively and harmoniously.
Kendyl values every one of her clients, whether they are just starting their career or entering retirement. Her ability to tailor strategies to each unique situation underscores her understanding that one size truly does not fit all in financial planning. Kendyl is also committed to developing long-lasting client relationships that result in both personal and financial growth for her clients.
Alongside her loyalty to her clients, Kendyl’s commitment to community and professional networking is evident in her role as the founder of the Calabasas chapter of The W Source. Each chapter of the organization allows local professional women and service providers to communicate, collaborate, and network.
Despite her role as the owner and managing partner, Kendyl remains actively engaged in the art of financial planning. Her hands-on approach and passion for her craft are key drivers in the personalized strategies she offers her clients, ensuring that they are skillfully guided on every step of their financial journey.
Kendyl's background in financial planning is deeply rooted, having started as an intern for her father, Dan Roundtree. Drawing from his expertise, Kendyl has taken over the practice, weaving her unique perspective and skills into the business without forgetting the values instilled in her by her father and his 40 years in the business.
When she isn’t working with clients or managing the practice, Kendyl is passionate about a wide range of hobbies. She enjoys painting, interior decorating, skiing/snowboarding, dirt biking, soccer, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family.
Kendyl Roundtree is not just a financial professional; she's a collaborator, a dedicated partner, and a person who always has your back, ensuring your financial journey is guided with expertise, empathy, and a shared commitment to your success.
